A minimalist travel wardrobe is not about wearing the same outfit every day. It is about choosing pieces that work together so every item has multiple uses.
Start with a small color palette
Pick two or three base colors, then add one accent color. This makes it much easier to combine tops, bottoms and layers.
Prioritize repeatable pieces
Bring clothing that can move between sightseeing, casual dinners and travel days with small changes in accessories or layers.
Use layers instead of bulky duplicates
A light base layer, mid-layer and outer layer can cover more situations than several heavy outfits.
Test the wardrobe before packing
Lay every piece on the bed and make at least two outfits with each major item. If something does not combine easily, remove it.
Pack the final wardrobe by category in packing cubes so you can see the system at a glance.
