Choosing a shape
Fourteen shapes are available above. They do broadly the same job — the difference is which contour they follow best:
Heart, concave and plum — broad curves for cheeks and forehead.
V and medium V — the notched edge sits either side of the jawline.
Fishtail, dolphin, butterfly — a mix of long and short edges for face and neck.
Toothed edges — more grip, better suited to the body than the face.
If you're starting out, a heart or V shape is the most forgiving.
How to use
Cleanse, then apply a facial oil or serum. The stone should glide — never drag it across dry skin.
Sweep upward and outward: forehead, cheeks, jaw, then down the neck.
Light pressure around the eyes, firmer along the jaw.
Five to ten minutes, two or three times a week.
Care
Wash with warm water and mild soap after each use and dry it fully. Rose quartz is a natural stone — it will chip or split if dropped on a hard floor. Keep it in the fridge if you like a colder stroke.
